Professional guitarist, singer/songwriter, top Jazz musician – this is Joshua Boyd, one of New Zealand’s finest young musical talents.

Specialising in guitar, Josh graduated from The New Zealand School of Music in Jazz performance in 2006. In addition to his musical talent, Josh has also completed a business management degree from which to spring board his career. Now age twenty-five, Josh has an enormous depth of experience and skill, working as a professional musician for the last 9 years.

After moving to Sydney in 2008, and working throughout Australia with tribute bands “The Time Capsule and “The Mighty Rockers”, Josh is currently working for Princess Cruises as a versatile guitarist in the orchestra. In 2009, Josh travelled throughout Europe, South America, North America, the Caribbean, and South East Asia.

In addition to guitar and vocals, Josh also plays trombone, drums, and bass, as can be heard on his new track “Get up”. "Get up" was recorded in December 2007, at Life of Riley Studios in Wellington, and is his first single as a solo artist. He is currently working on his first E.P. due out in late 2010.
